Why a tool site that uploads nothing
The files people most often need a quick tool for are the ones they should be most careful with: a signed contract that has to be merged, a bank statement that has to be compressed, a passport scan for a visa application, a payslip for a mortgage. The standard way to handle these online is to upload them to somebody’s server, wait, and download the result.
That workflow leaves a copy of your document on infrastructure you do not control, under a retention policy you did not read, for a period you cannot verify. For a holiday snap that is fine. For a passport scan it is not.
Modern browsers can do this work themselves. PDF manipulation, image encoding, video transcoding and even machine-learning inference all run perfectly well on your own machine through WebAssembly and standard web APIs. RightYantra is built on that premise: if the browser can do it, there is no reason to send your file anywhere.
How you can check
Claims about privacy are easy to make and hard to verify, so here is a test that takes ten seconds. Open any tool on this site, wait for it to load, then disconnect from the internet — turn off Wi-Fi, or switch to airplane mode. Use the tool anyway.
It works, because there was never a request to make. You can also open your browser’s developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and watch that nothing leaves while you process a file.
The few places where this site talks to a third party are all listed in the privacy policy: the AI tools (background remover, speech to text, OCR) download their models and engines once from public CDNs, and advertising, where shown, is served by an ad network. None of them ever sees your files.
What that makes possible
Removing the server removes the reasons other sites impose limits. There is no file size cap, because we are not paying for bandwidth or storage. There is no daily quota or credit system, because your processing costs us nothing. There is no account, because there is nothing to attach one to. And there are no watermarks, because there is no paid tier to upsell you to.
The trade-off is honest: processing speed depends on your device rather than on a server farm, so encoding a long video in the browser is slower than a desktop application would be. Where that matters, the tool says so on its own page.
