1.Acceptance of these terms

These terms govern your use of RightYantra (the “Service”), operated by SailRight Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

2.What the Service is

RightYantra provides free utilities that run inside your web browser: PDF tools, image tools, video and audio tools, calculators and text utilities. All processing happens on your own device. We do not receive, store or process the files you work with.

No account is required and no fee is charged. The Service is provided as a convenience, and we may add, change, suspend or remove any tool at any time without notice.

3.Your files and your responsibility

You retain all rights in the files you process. We claim no ownership or licence over them, because we never receive them.

You are solely responsible for the files you process and for keeping your own backups. In particular:

• Keep originals. Several tools are lossy or destructive by design — compression, format conversion, page removal. Always work from a copy.
• Passwords cannot be recovered. If you encrypt a PDF and forget the password, the document cannot be opened by us or by anyone else. That is what encryption means.
• Verify important output. Check the result before relying on it, especially for anything legal, financial, medical or safety-related.

4.Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• process material you have no right to process, or circumvent technical protection on content you are not authorised to modify — including removing protection from PDFs you do not own or have permission to alter;
• infringe intellectual property, privacy or other rights of any person;
• create, process or distribute unlawful material, or material that facilitates unlawful activity;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure;
• scrape, mirror or redistribute the Service or substantial parts of it as your own offering.

Because processing is local, enforcement is largely a matter of your own compliance. That does not make these restrictions optional.

5.Calculators are not professional advice

The financial, tax and salary calculators produce estimates using the assumptions stated on each page. They do not account for your jurisdiction’s tax bands, lender-specific fees, regulatory requirements or personal circumstances. Nothing on this site is financial, legal, tax, medical or professional advice. Consult a qualified professional before acting on any figure produced here.

6.No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output will be accurate or suitable for your purpose. Browser capabilities, device memory and file characteristics vary, and some files may fail to process or may process incorrectly.

7.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SailRight Technologies Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, files, profits, revenue or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the Service — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Because the Service is provided free of charge and we receive no files, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for it (which is nil) or the minimum amount permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

8.Advertising and third-party content

The Service may display advertisements or links to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, services or privacy practices. Your dealings with any advertiser or third party are solely between you and them. See our Privacy policy for how advertising cookies are handled.

9.Intellectual property

The Service’s name, logo, design, text and original code are owned by SailRight Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and protected by applicable law. The Service incorporates open-source software supplied by third parties under their own licences, which continue to govern those components. Nothing in these terms transfers any right in the Service to you beyond the right to use it as intended.

10.Changes to the Service and to these terms

We may modify these terms at any time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the current version, and material changes will be signposted on the site. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the Service.

11.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law rules, and the courts of India shall have jurisdiction over any dispute — save that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you retain the benefit of any mandatory protections of your local law. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder continues in full force.
