Privacy policy
Your files never leave your device. This page explains what that means in practice, and what limited information RightYantra does receive.
Last updated 26 August 2026
1.The short version
RightYantra is a set of browser-based tools operated by SailRight Technologies Pvt. Ltd.. The defining property of this site is that the files you process never leave your device. There is no upload, no server-side processing and no copy of your document, image, video or audio on any machine we control.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect names, email addresses or payment details. The only information that reaches us is the ordinary technical data any web server records when it serves a page, plus whatever our advertising and analytics partners collect through cookies as described below.
You can verify the no-upload claim yourself: load any tool page, disconnect from the internet, and use the tool. It continues to work, because there was never a request to make.
2.Files you process
When you drop a PDF, image, video or audio file into a tool on this site, that file is read by JavaScript running in your browser tab using standard web APIs. It is held in your device’s memory for as long as the tab is open, processed there, and offered back to you as a download.
We never receive the file. We cannot read it, we do not store it, and we have no ability to recover it. This also means we cannot help you retrieve something you have lost, and that a password you set on a PDF using our Protect PDF tool cannot be recovered by anyone — including us.
Closing or reloading the tab discards everything. Nothing about your file is written to disk except the output you explicitly choose to download.
3.Information we collect
Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request information when your browser fetches a page: IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referring page, user-agent string and response status. This is used for security, abuse prevention and diagnosing errors, and is retained for a limited period before deletion.
Browser storage. We store one value in your browser’s localStorage under the key theme, recording whether you chose light, dark or system appearance. It never leaves your browser and is not readable by us. Clearing your site data removes it.
What we do not collect. No account details, no contact information, no payment data, no uploaded content, and no record of which tools you used with which files.
4.Third parties and external requests
Most of this site makes no third-party requests at all. Fonts, the PDF engine and the video engine are all served from our own domain rather than a CDN, specifically to avoid leaking your browsing to another party. The exceptions are listed explicitly:
- Background Remover and Speech to Text. The first time you use one of these tools, your browser downloads an open-source machine-learning model (roughly 45 MB for the background remover; 40–250 MB for speech recognition, depending on the model you choose) from the Hugging Face content delivery network. That request tells Hugging Face your IP address and that a model file was requested. Your image or audio is not sent — only the model comes down, and all processing then happens on your device. The model is cached by your browser, so the request happens once.
- OCR (image and PDF to text). The first time you run OCR, your browser downloads the Tesseract recognition engine and the language data for the language you selected (about 10–15 MB) from the jsDelivr and projectnaptha content delivery networks. As above, those requests reveal your IP address to the CDN; your document is not sent, and recognition runs entirely on your device.
- Advertising. We may display advertisements supplied by third-party ad networks, including Google. These networks set and read their own cookies. See the next section.
6.Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal data relating to you — including rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection under the EU/UK GDPR, and rights to know, delete and opt out of “sale” or “sharing” under California law.
In practice we hold very little that could identify you. We have no account records and no copies of your files. Where a request concerns server log data, please contact us at privacy@sailright.tech and we will respond within the period required by applicable law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
For cookies set by advertising partners, those partners are the controllers of that data. The opt-out links in the previous section are the most direct route to exercising choice over it.
7.Children
This site is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at privacy@sailright.tech and we will delete it.
8.Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Because your files are processed locally and never transmitted, the largest category of risk in a conventional file-processing service — data in transit and at rest on a server — does not apply here.
The residual risks are the ones inherent to your own device: other software on your machine, browser extensions with permission to read page content, and shared or public computers. If you are handling sensitive documents, use a device you trust and close the tab when you are finished.
9.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the site, our partners or the law. The “last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Material changes will be signposted on the site. Continuing to use RightYantra after a change takes effect means you accept the revised policy.
